This analysis examines what outcomes from the Brisbane G20 Summit in November 2014 would help reinvigorate the forum and render it a success. The author argues that the summit requires engaged leaders, a minimum of rhetoric, and clear evidence of cooperation between members. Furthermore, it should include a focus on implementing the reforms needed to achieve the G20’s economic growth target, a renewed effort on multilateral trade liberalization, and concrete steps to modernizing international taxation.
