Prior to the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in October 2014, this commentary discusses how Poland could seize this summit as an opportunity to reinvigorate Europe-Asia relations. First, the author provides a brief background on ASEM and the differences between the two continents that often hamper the summit's effectiveness. He also examines the potential for ASEM to become a building block for an Asia-Europe Partnership as well as Poland’s geostrategic assets and interests that could contribute to advancing cooperation between Europe and Asia. Finally, he offers recommendations for Poland om what the country can do to benefit from the October 2014 summit in Milan.
