This is a transcript of a panel discussion on the effects of the 2004 and 2007 enlargements to the membership of the EU on the politics and economics of European integration. In particular, the panelists discuss how these enlargements affected the new member states, how pre-existing member states are still adjusting to an enlarged EU, and how the politics of free movement and budget distribution continue to be contested in the Union.
