This paper discusses the reaction on social media in Syria to the alleged Israeli Air Force's December 7th, 2014 attack on the military section of Damascus International Airport. In particular, the authors examine what the online discourse reveals about how Israel's interventions affect the legitimacy and strategies of the other actors involved in the civil war in Syria.
