This brief discusses a simulation of a potential Hizbollah attack against Israel’s Northern Front in retaliation of the assassination of senior Hizbollah figure Imad Mughiniyeh. The simulation highlighted that all relevant parties to the conflict, including the Hamas, the United States, Iran, Syria and Russia lack enthusiasm at being dragged into escalation and adopt a strategy of containment.
