This report provides an overview of a conference on the Montreux Document, an intergovernmental initiative that promotes respect for international humanitarian law and human rights law in conflicts involving private military and security companies. In particular, the conference focused on the perspectives of Southeast Asian states on the Montreux Document and the regulation of private military and security companies.
