This paper discusses the approach of the Obama administration towards the P5+1 nuclear proliferation negotiations with Iran. In particular, the author discusses the administration's struggle to avoid the imposition of new sanctions on Iran by the US Congress and Israel's president Netanyahu's visit to address said Congress on the issue.
