Based on research and interviews, this paper discusses the threat posed by violent extremism, crime, tribal feuds as well as nationalist and separatist movements in Pakistan's Sindh province. The authors then recommend six measures the Pakistani government should instill to better manage the problems affecting Sindh. These include 1) political representation for religious minorities; 2) law enforcement; 3) legal capacity; 4) development and implementation of education policies; 5) government accountability and transparency; and 6) job creation.
