This report discusses the challenges facing Australia's law enforcement system and what the country should do to address these problems. In general, the author contends the challenges facing the country's law enforcement system - including those resulting from developments in organized crime, technology, foreign policy, funding and the international environment - mean that the government should review and increase its role in law enforcement.
