This paper analyzes a January 9th 2015 article from the German weekly publication "Der Spiegel" which presents evidence that Syria has not given up on its ambitions to develop nuclear weapons. Overall, the authors contend that due to Syria's previous track record regarding development of weapons of mass destruction, the "Der Spiegel" article gives cause for further investigation into what seems to be occurring in the country.
