In this transcript, the ICG's Jean-Marie Guehenno discusses his organization’s report, “The Next Flashpoint: Potential Threats to Peace and Security in 2015.” In particular, Guehenno zeros in on 1) the prevention of conflict and the early identification of potential conflict situations; 2) the growth of multipolarity and the diffusion of power in today's world; 3) the erosion of state power and what that means for conflict resolution; and 4) what the international community can do to prevent the spread of future conflict.
