This paper discusses Samuel Huntington's idea from his 1999 essay, "The Lonely Superpower" that the number of governments who see their interests as coinciding with those of the US is shrinking, and how it applies it to the dynamics playing out in the P5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran.
