This commentary discusses China and South Korea’s creation of a working group, the meeting of which took place in January 2015, to discuss boundary delimitation between the two countries in the Yellow Sea. The author contends that the working meetings offer not only a chance to improve bilateral relations between the two countries, but also a possible foundation for improved maritime cooperation in the region.
