This report features ten articles that look at a variety of issues associated with migrant Arab communities in the Gulf region. Among other issues, the articles focus on 1) how these communities emerged and evolved; 2) their sociological compositions and economic profiles; 3) the causes, processes and consequences of their interactions with their host countries, and 4) how social interaction has evolved into social integration.
