This paper provides details of two of Pakistan's ongoing policy frameworks for dealing with terrorism, militancy and radicalization: the February 2014 National Internal Security Policy (NISP) and the December 2014 National Action Plan (NAP). The author also discusses the progress which Pakistan has made with these frameworks and provides recommendations on how Pakistani policymakers can further strengthen the country's internal security.
