The three articles in this edition of the RAD look at 1) the evolution of Russia’s federal programs of patriotic education since 2000; 2) how patriotism has shaped consumer preferences among the Russian population in the post-Soviet era; and 3) the militarization of the national idea in Russia by the country’s political authorities since 2012.
