In this transcript, three experts discuss the marketing tactics used by the self-proclaimed Islamic State to attract new recruits. In particular, they examine the group’s social media practices, its blockbuster-style videos and glossy propaganda magazine, and how young Muslims are responding to this blatant propaganda. Finally, the experts examine how the group leads, manages and finances itself and what are its chances of survival and even expansion in the future.
