In this transcript, Goldman Sachs Foundation’s Dina Habib Powell discusses the state of women’s economic empowerment in the Middle East and North Africa and the role women play in growing the global economy. She examines some of the obstacles that still remain to women’s participation in the workforce, including limited access to capital and new markets as well as social challenges. She then sets out steps to reduce these barriers and promote women’s economic empowerment, which could boost sustainable economic growth and productivity in the region.
