This paper uses the International Futures (IFS) forecasting system to determine whether Namibia is on track to meet its long-term development goals, as outlined in its National Development Plan (NDP4) and Vision 2030. The targets center on poverty reduction, improved health and infrastructure, and economic development. In the latter case, the paper’s author further identifies the most important constraints on long-term economic growth in the country and identifies ways to address them.
