This note discusses the results of Canada's October 2015 National election which saw the Liberal Party win leadership. In particular, the author examines 1) the campaigning which led up to the elections; 2) why the Conservative Party was unable to win the election; 3) how each of the major parties performed at the elections; and 4) how a Liberal government in Ottawa could have an impact on Canada/US relations.
