This issue of Conflict Trends contains six articles on assorted Africa-centered topics. The articles specifically center on 1) the role the Southern African Development Community (SADC) played in resolving Lesotho's political crisis in 2014; 2) African perspectives on reforming the UN Security Council; 3) the ambivalent feelings the Kenyan state has towards its Kenyan-Somali population; 4) Liberia's peacebuilding process; 5) the violent mass protests that occurred in Burkina Faso after President Blaise Compaoré amended the country's constitution to extend his 27-year rule; 5) the underlying factors that are fueling Islamic extremism in Nigeria; and 6) the movement towards a constitutional reform process in Liberia.
