This paper analyzes the recent reports that there are huge oil deposits in the Golan Heights and Jezreel Valley, which may bode well for Israel’s economy. Although there are obvious questions over Israel's right to access the Golan deposits, the text’s author contends that the oil reserves in the Megiddo‐Jezreel Valley are ripe for exploitation and commercialization.
