In this transcript, four analysts discuss the problems posed by warring sectarian narratives in the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The analysts, who have extensive experience working with communities in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt, also consider how to tackle the root causes of religious acrimony in the MENA area and facilitate positive community relations. (Note: The discussants include KPMG's Sarah El Ashmawy; We Meet to Succeed's Arine Hassan; Integrity UK's Mehiyar Kathem; and the Adyan Institute's Nayla Tabbara.)
