This commentary discusses Benjamin Netanyahu’s flirtation with the idea of revoking the permanent residency status of Arabs living in East Jerusalem, which seemingly arose as a possible response to a number of terrorist attacks by Palestinians against Israeli citizens in 2015. After examining the legal framework under which Palestinians live in East Jerusalem, the commentary's author concludes that the possibility of displacing them would enjoy "nearly zero feasibility" from a legal and constitutional standpoint.
