This brief looks at the socio-economic and security impacts returnees from Pakistan and Iran are having on Afghanistan. The brief's authors specifically focus on 1) how the housing, employment and social needs of the returnees are taxing Afghan society, and 2) what external humanitarian, development, and security actors can do to back the reintegration process more effectively.
