Given their traditionally close ties, this commentary wonders why Pakistan has been unwilling to join the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen since the spring of 2015. It concludes that for several reasons Islamabad’s unconditional support of Riyadh’s foreign policy interests has come to an end.
