This report focuses on the links between corruption and state fragility. In particular, the text’s author explores 1) how corruption makes states brittle; and 2) why efforts by the US and other developed countries have failed to have much of an impact on corruption in fragile states. She then concludes her analysis by providing a set of recommendations for how the US can help curb corruption in weak nations.
