This paper discusses the impact of the June 2005 Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) between India and Singapore on India's healthcare sector. The author argues that India has much potential in the private healthcare market and in the pharmaceutical and insurance sectors. For Singapore's private sector, the CECA has paved the way for the scoping of business and investment opportunities.
