This study discusses Israeli threat perceptions with regard to the Iranian nuclear program. It argues that if diplomacy fails to provide solutions, various sanctions could move to the central stage. According to the author, there is a deep understanding within the Israeli defense establishment that should there be a pre-emptive strike against Iran, it will respond with all its military might. The author assesses that Israel has been taking measures to protect itself in case of an attack. As for an Israeli military strike, the study argues that there are too many question marks regarding a successful outcome but that such a possibility cannot be dismissed outright.
