This report outlines possible outcomes of the 2004 presidential elections in Indonesia. It describes the electoral reform of the country and the most important parties in the elections. The report also assesses public attitudes toward the political system and possible outcomes of the elections. It presents four scenarios of election outcomes. However, the report states that whatever the result of the presidential election, the next government will be based on a coalition of rival parties.
