This paper addresses the change in Iranian politics since the election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The publication argues that Ahmadinejad's victory is a major turning point in Iranian politics for several reasons. According to the author, it could bring political and economic reforms to an end. Further topics discussed in this paper are the fraud in Iran’s elections, the reformist critique of Ahmadinejad's victory as well as Iran’s future political trends.
