This paper discusses the cooperation between Turkish and Israeli defense industries since the signing of the defense industry cooperation agreement in 1996. Among the issues addressed are Israeli technology and know-how transfer to Turkey, as well as the US and EU's response to Israeli-Turkish cooperation. The author concludes that the future cooperation between the two countries would appear to be secure because of the dangers posed by Syria and Iran to Israel, and by Iran to Turkey.
