In 2015, the UN performed three comprehensive assessments of its peace operations, peacebuilding efforts, and implementation of its women, peace, and security agenda. This report both highlights and analyzes the common themes, links and potential areas of cooperation that emerge from these reviews, particularly in the four following areas -- 1) sustaining peace and prevention; 2) gender equality and women’s participation; 3) collaborative and strategic partnerships; and 4) people-centered approaches. The authors also outline what the UN should do to implement the recommendations of the three UN reviews.
