This paper discusses the demise of the Oslo Accords and the peace process between the Israelis and Palestinians. The author explains that the failure of the Oslo Accords occured due to a variety of factors, including deficiencies in the accords themselves, failures of implementation, and the play of domestic politics. The paper also explains the impact of the established "conflict syndrome" on the failure of accords, and details the key characteristics of the conflict syndrome.
