What is the OSCE's role in conflict prevention and peace building? This report answers the question by reviewing and assessing the organization's activities in Eurasia. More specifically, it looks at the roles OSCE missions and field activities have played and continue to play in long-term conflict prevention, preventive diplomacy, conflict resolution, and post-conflict security building. The report also examines US attitudes toward the organization at this point in history and makes policy-related recommendations on how to facilitate US-OSCE relations further.
