This article argues that the advantages of the US moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would outweigh the risks, which could involve deteriorating relations with Jordan and Egypt and triggering yet another Palestinian Intifada. To support the move, the text’s author advises Israel to maintain a low profile and make special efforts to assure Palestinians that the future of East Jerusalem would not be determined by the US’ decision.
