This report assesses how activities undertaken by international and local faith-based NGOs have influenced reconciliation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It attempts to answer such questions as can faith-based NGOs be effective agents of interfaith reconciliation, particularly when they share a religion with one party to the conflict; can they rise above their religious identities and bring groups together; and are they more likely to be agents of reconciliation or contributors to additional division and conflict?
