This report analyzes ways Muslims in the US understand their roles as US citizens. The paper examines different major US Muslim organizations' activities and their distinguished views on violence, terrorism and conflict resolution. The focus is on key trends in their organizations, their religious and secular activities and the ways they carve out their distinct identity. The author demonstrates that social-economic mobility of American Muslims is far more obtainable than in Europe.
