Publication

This paper describes the political outcome of the Albanian local elections held in October 2003. The author examines general political movements and reforms in the country and analyzes the issues that shape the election. The paper places a particular emphasis on the role of the ethnic Greek minority in southern Albania during the elections and Albanian-Greek relations in general.
