This paper analyzes the state of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) after the internationally lead Concordia stabilization mission. The author assesses the process of national political stabilization and evaluates general progress on implementing the Ochrid accords in FYROM. The paper examines the position of the state in relation to internal threats of destabilization as well as possible outside influences wider regional instability, both with regard to internal political forces and also the activities of external political and economic actors, such as Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia and Albania.
