This report analyzes Jordan's role in stabilizing and reconstructing Iraq. It demonstrates the security and economic interests of Jordan in Iraq and shows how Jordanian domestic politics plays a part. The author further discusses Jordan's influence in Iraq, which he assesses as positive but modest. He explores the compatibility between US and Jordanian interests and the chances that disagreements would deteriorate.
