This paper discusses the 2005 peace talks between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). The author explains the origins of the conflict, the evolution of the peace process and the challenges facing both sides. The paper concludes by recommending measures for a successful resolution of the conflict.
