This Special Report summarizes the findings of a workshop on Catholic peacemaking. The paper explores the peacemaking activities of key Catholic organizations and explicates the distinctively Catholic nature of peacemaking by these and other Catholic organizations. The author concludes that despite the diverse approaches to peacemaking, the emphasis of Catholic peacemaking is on high-level mediation.
