Publication

This publication addresses the Darfur conflict and gives an overview of Sudan's geography, history and economy. The paper discusses whether the origins of the Fur are Arab or African and describes the nomadic, village, homestead and urban societies of the country. The publication also addresses the role of women and inter-group relations. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the provincial administration structure of the Darfur region and examines the political dimension of the Darfur crisis.
