Publication

This publication provides a historical overview of relations between the US and Libya. It presents the texts of US policy statements, laws and regulations that govern US relations with Libya. Before each document or group of documents is an analytic summary that highlights the context, major provisions and significance of the policy, law or regulation in question as it relates to US-Libyan relations. The publication further discusses how the US government might go about the process of normalizing relations with Libya, taking either a comprehensive or an incremental approach.
