This publication examines the 2001 conflict in Macedonia. It describes the cause of events during the conflict and the political process toward the Ohrid Peace Agreement. It also explores the politics of the Macedonian National Liberation Army and the establishment and practices of the Rapid Reaction Units. One chapter discusses the role of the media during and after the conflict.
