Publication

This paper summarizes the main discussions of a seminar on peace operations by the UN, EU and NATO, held in Brussels, Belgium in October 2007. The discussions focus on the perspectives and approaches to multidimensional and integrated peace operations by the UN, NATO and the EU and look more closely at strategic and operational trends and concepts and challenges to the separate approaches. The paper argues that all three organizations have a long way to go in developing coherent operational concepts.
