This issue of the Russian Analytical Digest analyzes Russia's energy policy. The authors examine the complexity and interdependency of the international energy market and consider energy cooperation with northeast Asian states. The issue also discusses Russia’s Arctic petroleum frontier and studies the regional influence on oil and gas development using the island Sakhalin as an example.
