As the title suggests, this paper looks at what the Republican Party’s control of Congress and the White House could mean for US foreign policy. To address this issue, the text’s author particularly focuses on 1) whether or not there is a general consensus among Republicans in this policy area; 2) what impact the party’s hold on government could have on foreign policy decision-making; 3) what discernible factors influence agenda setting among Republican Party members; 4) how different factions within the party influence decision-making, and more.
