This brief reviews the results of INSS’ most recent National Security Index poll, which focuses on public opinion in Israel. Interestingly, the findings challenge the current political status quo – i.e., 1) a majority of respondents believe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, rather than Iran, is the primary threat facing the Jewish State, and 2) public support exists for the evacuation of Jewish settlements from Palestinian territory.
